[A dark portal appears once more nearby. The sound of clanking armor as Shadow reappears once more from the void. His helmet wasn't repaired, still showing one of his crimson eyes. There was a distant look in his eye, bloodstains on his lips, blood at the end of his spear. It was done, he succeeded, but he felt no joy. A numbness spread through his body, the creeping realization of what he had done. It's familiar, he's done it before. It disgusts him now. He wanted to throw it all back up.
His grip tightens on the pole of his spear, trying to keep it togther. Just a little longer. Wait a little longer. It'll be over soon. He won't have to think about any of it, or carry this pain anymore.
